Yoga is my passion and continually teaches me to be present, to realize that everything is “perfect” as it is, and to embrace all things this beautiful life brings us.
In 2010, my twins girls were born and became my new “teachers” and reaffirmed my fundamental belief that goodness is our true nature and that we all are essentially children and we need to embrace this inner child. I have now dedicated myself to teaching yoga to help everyone prepare to live life in full awareness and to feel freedom and lightness of being.
I studied under Shakti Mhi at the Prana Yoga College, who taught an organic, spiritual approach to yoga with a heavy emphasis on safety. I enjoy teaching a Hatha Flow style yoga incorporating classical Hatha ,restorative postures with modifications allowing every body to participate at their own level.
I love the therapeutic benefits of yoga and strongly believe many of our physical and emotional ailments can be alleviated through the yoga spirit. I enjoy studying about Chakras, our energy centers in our body, that get blocked and through yoga need to be awakened or balanced so we can all find our own individual bliss.
