Assertion and Reflection
A weekend workshop with Daniel Clement and Kim Sheridan
Over this long weekend residential retreat on Texada Island we’ll explore both traditional and personal interpretation of yoga, considering the themes and lessons found in the ancient texts and their relevance to our own modern world.
Daniel and Kim will guide you through postures – both active and reflective, breath and cognitive exploration, and interactive discussion on what you can find value in, while making your own these rich traditions.
Dates: May 18 – 21, 2018 Cost: $350 per person
Texada Island, near Powell River, is a Gulf Island on the coast of B.C.The 100 year old home studio/retreat is located in the quiet village of Van Anda on the north end of Texada. Shared accommodations are simple, there is a wood stove for heat and a large country kitchen where we can prepare meals together. Each day in Texada is laid out to feel un-rushed, but full. The ocean is 1 block down the hill and trails that lead through the woods to a serene lake are an easy 1 mile hike away. A perfect place to study, learn and connect.
